Amsterdam Dance Event / Noorderkerkconcerten / 2019
In an original spatial sound and light composition the unique square-cross form architecture of the Noorderkerk is explored in an hour long piece. A circle of 32 speakers and lights was made optimal use of the acoustics and architecture of the space. 4DSound software and a custom tool were used to control the installation. The monumental ‘Knipscheer’ organ was used slowly, retracting different registers creating a pitch glide effect.
